Retardant solvents

These solvents are used to dilute varnishes when working at temperatures of over 25 ºC (retardant) or when there is excessive humidity (bloom-resistant).

This delays dust from building up on the varnish to avoid gassing (retardant) or bloom (bloom-resistant).

The most commonly used ones are:

SR-401 BLOOM-RESISTANT SOLVENT 804

SR-406 BLOOM-RESISTANT SOLVENT 807

SR-408 SPECIAL RETARDANT SOLVENT

SR-411 SPECIAL RETARDANT SOLVENT II

These are the most commonly used solvents. There are other more specific ones for other uses. Please ask our technical department for details.
